ACKNOWLEDGEMENT I wish to express my heart-felt thankfulness to all that have ever prayed for me and to those who continue to pray for me. You wrote this book through your prayers of compassion. Don't stop now. To the people who know me and are wondering why would God use someone like me to do anything. I can only offer myself as an example of the grace of God. To God be all the glory. (1 Corinthians 1:26-29 NKJV) For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. {27} But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; {28} and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, {29} that no flesh should glory in His presence. Advice to the Reader Read this book slowly. I tend to summarize and condense much information in some of the sentences. Read it again after the first time. The book is an instructional manual not a novel. Do not be discouraged if you do not measure up to the characteristics mentioned, the book tells where you are going in your destiny as a warrior in the Kingdom of God, not where you are. Hopefully it will give you some information on how to get there. As always judge everything by the Word of God, the Holy Bible, the ultimate manual for life. (Joshua 1:8-9 NKJV) "This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. {9} "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go. For pastors teachers and evangelist there are many sermon ideas contained in this book. Please use them freely being guided by the Holy Spirit. Introduction to: "Seeking God Finding Love" As Christians we are always taught to Love God first and Love people second. This is the theme throughout the Bible. All of the Old Testament Laws are based on these two principals. But what does that mean? And how do we get to that place in our spiritual walk? Many teach and have taught that love is a commitment; that we are to grin and bear it, suffer through it, so to speak. We have been taught that love is a set of behaviors. But there is more to it than that because we are taught in 1st Corinthians 13 the great love chapter; (1 Corinthians 13:1-3 NKJV) Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. {2} And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. {3} And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. Here we are taught that even though we have the best spiritual gifts, and all faith, all knowledge, feed the poor, and give our whole life to great works, but do not have love it is of no benefit. Clearly there is more than commitment, and behaviors to love. In the past three years the Lord has shown me some awesome insights from His word. This book is a result of those revelations. |
